| In the fall of 2005, Al Flora and Alan Mullins knew that they wanted to do business in Franklin County. They both are from here, and live here. For the last 10 years, they have been working outside of the county. Their goals: find the right spot, get the right cars, make sure they are serviced and get the customers. For their customers, they offer 10 years or 125,000 mile power train warranty on their vehicles( whichever comes first). This alone will tell you that they back what they do. All of this and no processing fees on sales. Need financing? With many banks with exceptional rates and many for those with credit issues, help can be found here. If there is a vehicle that’s not on the lot, they can find it. Full service is the goal. | Al Flora is the dealer operator along with being a co-owner and partner at Alan Mullins Preowned. Al got started in the car business back in 1996 after working in the air freight business for 4 years. He spent 10 years representing prime and sub-prime lenders; calling on over 400 different automobile dealers in the state of VA and WV. The sub-prime credit industry over the years has become a dominant factor in the success of automobile dealers. The last few months in the business, he spent underwriting automobile loans. Outside Al’s background in air freight and automobiles, he spent several years with the good people at MW Manufacturers. While working there, he earned a degree from Virginia Western Community College and continued his education at Radford University and Ferrum College. “ It‘s a joy to be working in Franklin County. This is where I want to be, taking care of the people and county that I love”. Al’s interests include his wife Cathie, daughter Sara, his extended family, hunting, fishing, golfing, all sporting events, Antioch Community Park, Creek Freaks (paddling on the rivers)……..just being outside in Franklin County!.......and being in touch with people who care. | ||||||
| Alan Mullins | ||||||

Alan Mullins is co-owner and partner in the Alan Mullins Preowned Sales facility. Alan started pumping gas here at the 20141 Virgil H Goode Hwy location while at Franklin County High School. It was formerly “Barnharts Garage”. From here, Alan was hired as a salesperson at a neighboring franchise dealer. After a successful year in sales, he was backing up the finance and insurance person. When a finance and insurance position opened up at a nearby franchise, Alan moved in. From here, he became the sales manager, then the General Manager, then bought into the Lincoln/Mercury/Chrysler/Jeep store. In early 2006, a transaction was completed and Alan Mullins Chrysler Jeep was born. Already in the beginning stages was Alan Mullins Preowned Automotive heading towards the August 2006 opening date. Alan Mullins Complete Automotive service facility at Smith Mountain lake has been an addition to round out the business. Alan’s interests include his family; wife Sonya, children; Brady and Karly, drag racing, pool shooting, hunting, four wheeling…..and the car business!! |

| Todd Hunley | ||||||
| Todd has eight years of automobile sales experience, the first seven he worked with his step-father at a small independent lot. He then made the switch to Alan Mullins Pre-owned when the doors opened; his feet have not hit the ground yet. Todd’s background is in education. Todd Hunley came to Alan Mullins Preowned by the way of Franklin County Public Schools He received a bachelor’s degree from Radford University in 1994 and spent ten years teaching health and physical education and coaching the Lady eagles in softball. Todd’s interests include his family: wife Julie, three children: Amber, Cameron and Reagan. Other interests are any sporting event, canoeing, and fishing. | ||||||
